What is InstaSwap?

InstaSwap is an instant cross-chain cryptocurrency exchange that allows you to exchange crypto instantly, buy it with a bank card or even sell it. Our service provides the most convenient crypto to crypto rates and supports over 50 cryptocurrencies available for exchange.

How do I know the price at which I exchange my Digital Assets?

We have a fixed rate for the whole order, thus you receive as many coins as you see by the time you initiate the transaction. This can slightly vary if the deposit needs more confirmations.

How safe is your service?

Our service provides safe and instant transactions without revealing the user's identity. How quickly can you process my order?

The processing speed ranges from about 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the traffic of the blockchain network. Most orders process in just a few minutes.

What exchange rate does InstaSwap use?

The exchange rate is our own, derived from several market sources and based on the amount we feel comfortable exchanging at that fixed rate.

What’s a wallet address?

A wallet is a digital place where you can store cryptocurrency coins and tokens. A wallet address is a randomly generated combination of digits and letters that is associated with a particular wallet. InstaSwap does not provide wallet addresses and never stores user deposits. To exchange cryptocurrencies on InstaSwap, you need to provide a previously-existing wallet address where you can receive your exchanged currency.

How do I get a wallet address?

Once you figure out which coin you want to buy then look for a stable compatible wallet. As a rule, each coin has its official wallet client. Note that each wallet has its unique address or a tag with a private key that is required to restore your wallet if you lose it. InstaSwap will never ask for your private keys. Be sure to always store them in a safe place and never show them to anyone. If your private keys are stolen, your wallet and all your coins will be lost forever. Your keys, your coins.

What are network fees?

Currently, you don't have to pay network fees. There is only one transparent service fee - 0.4%, and that's it! Each time any amount of cryptocurrency is sent or exchanged, the currency goes through a blockchain. This process requires a small fee called a ‘network fee’. The network fee is a commission that a blockchain takes from the amount sent in each currency.

How do I cancel my transaction?

Unfortunately, blockchain transactions are irreversible. That means that once a transaction is made (money is sent to a particular wallet address), it cannot be rolled back. So, if you are going to exchange cryptocurrency, be sure to double-check all payment details carefully before sending it.

Why is my final amount different?

All transactions take time to be processed (usually 10-30 minutes). Given the volatility of cryptocurrencies, the exchange rate is subject to change during the processing time, which means the final rate may be slightly different from what you expected.

When should I receive my money?

InstaSwap transactions take 10-30 minutes to be processed. If a transaction is large (worth over 1 BTC), processing may take longer, depending on the size of your transaction and blockchain capacity.

What happens if my transaction doesn't go through?

If your transaction fails we will refund your funds using the Refund Address you provided. You can also contact our Support Team here: support@instaswap.io

Troubleshooting

What about support waiting time?

We are asking our users to wait up to 24 hours for their issue to be resolved. You are not being ignored, all of our users are experiencing this increased wait time.

Sent funds to the wrong address. Can I recover them?

Unfortunately not. Once funds are sent to the wrong address, there is nothing we can do to recover them. This is why it is extremely important to double-check the destination address you enter on the order page.

What Fiat currencies does InstaSwap accept?

You can buy any kind of cryptocurrencies listed on InstaSwap with Fiat currency. We accept 3 fiat currencies for buying crypto, namely: USD, EUR, GBP.

How do I buy cryptos using a bank card?

The process is quite simple and takes a few minutes. The proceeding goes through our partner for the provider pairs or through InstaSwap for the double pairs (pairs that are not provided by our partner (MoonPay):

Select a default currency which can be USD, GBP or EUR from the widget menu.

Set the fiat amount and choose the crypto you want to buy. Transaction limits are set by our provider. Detailed information on limits and fees for our provider is given below.

Carefully check the rate and the amount you are going to receive.

Specify your cryptocurrency wallet address and proceed to purchase cryptocurrency.

In all cases, you will need to verify your email address by entering a 4-digit verification code you get in your email inbox.

Enter your billing and residential addresses to proceed.

Provide your bank card data.

If it’s your first crypto purchase on InstaSwap, if the limit exceeds 150€ proof of identity will be required. Depending on the country you are resident at you will be shown what proof of identity you need to provide. To verify yourself you’ll need to upload the document you’ll choose:

  • International passport
  • National ID card
  • Driving license

In most cases, you will also need to upload a selfie. It usually takes between two and thirty minutes to verify your identity.

Within 10-30 minutes, your transaction will be complete and you will receive cryptocurrency to your wallet and transaction details to the provided email.

What are Double Pairs?

Double Pairs are not supported by our Fiat Provider and go through both platforms (Moonpay first and then InstaSwap). For instance, when you choose a coin that is not supported by our provider, your Fiat will go through our Provider in order to be exchanged to Bitcoin. Following that exchange, Bitcoin will be then exchanged through our platform to the currency you chose to buy with Fiat. You will be informed of the whole procedure by the use of email from both our Fiat provider and InstaSwap. Users will also be able to see the procedure live.

Can I use bank cards from another region?

You may pay with a 3D-secure card from any country and in any currency. However, transactions will be in either USD, GBP or EUR. In order to eliminate the costs of multiple conversions, we recommend using USD / EUR bank cards. We recommend that you should use debit cards instead of credit ones in order to ensure that your transaction won’t be declined by a bank (which issued the card) thus having more chances to complete the purchase.

Are there any restrictions on bank card payment?

Please note that our fiat transactions are processed by our partners. Each one has some limitations that should be taken into account. Note that double pair transactions are being processed by both our Provider and InstaSwap.

Once a user has signed up and shared basic information, the daily/monthly limit is 150€. After a successful identity verification process, the daily limit is 2,000 $/€/£ and the monthly limit is 20,000 $/€/£.

Note: The daily limit is counted not as a calendar day, from 00:00 till 23:59, but as a 24-hour period since purchasing.

The monthly limit is counted as a 31-day period since purchasing, and not as a calendar month.

InstaSwap and Moonpay charge a total fee of 5.5%.
